As our team gears up for many months of training, travel and racing, we have one goal in mind. Carbon Racing will lead by example in offsetting energy used in our cycling activities. We strive to educate fellow cyclists on our energy impact on the environment in travel, hotels and races while demonstrating ways to offset them.
The EM Raceteam and Team Torelli have joined forces to form Carbon Racing. The team brings a combination of skills to the line with experience, talent and the drive to win. Our men’s squad encompasses many talents that are sure to produce quality results.
Dan Quinlan, Brian “Batman” Batke and Ray Huang are sure to compete on any climb and chances are you will see any one of them in the breakaway but not without the help from Tris Hopkins, Shawn Adams and Matt Weeks, ready to attack and utilize their all around skills to drive home the win. Tom Frueh and Jared Durieux will show their finishing speed at the line. Our women’s squad is looking forward to using their experience gained in the 2008 NRC calendar to make for a successful 2009. Erin Quinlan and Samantha Brode (House) are bound to be seen jump starting the action in both criterium and road races while racing against the clock in any TT around!
