Sunday, May 16th, 2010 Carbon Racing took the opportunity to snag more podium spots at the Chippewa Creek Road Race hosted by Chagrin River Cycling. Dan Quinlan was second to Paul Martin (Panter-Competitive cyclist) while Josh Halvax, Matt Weeks, Tom Frueh, Tris Hopkins, and Brian Batke finished in the field sprint. Carbon’s next highest place finisher was Josh Halvax in 5th place.
In the Women’s field, Samatha Brode, was the sole representative for Carbon Racing grabbing second place while the winner was Sally Price (Team Summa).
The team has also been very active on Tuesday nights at the Westlake Training Series. On Tuesday, May 18th, the team swept the podium. Shawn Adams won the race, Tom Frueh was second, and Brian Batke finished in third place. Way to go guys!! Please see this link for all the results and information regarding Westlake.
