The men’s squad continues to race well in the local early season races finishing all of them with at least one podium spot! On Saturday, March 27th, the team raced at Malabar Farms hosted by Taco Sports. Brian Batke finished 2nd to race winner Paul Martin (Panther-Competitive Cyclist) on the rolling course. Josh Halvax, Daniel Quinlan, Ray Huang, and Tris Hopkins all finished in the field.
Saturday, April 3rd, the men’s squad raced in the Cat 1/2/3 field at Mid-Ohio sponsored by Taco Sports. Greg Flecher, Josh Halvax, Shawn Adams, and Ray Huang all worked together to help deliver the opportunity for a win. The wind gusts of up to 30mph created a challenge for all of the racers at Mid-Ohio. Shawn led out the sprint with Josh, Jeremy Grimm (RGF Solutions), and an unidentified Summit Freewheeler rider in tow. Jeremy Grimm won the sprint with Josh and Shawn taking 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Great job!
