It’s hard to believe that we are already racing in Ohio, especially after two hard months of frigid temperatures and lots of snow. Ironically, that doesn’t seem to have affected the fitness levels of some of our racers. On Saturday March 13th at Frosty Toes in Croton, OH, the boys took another win! Dan Quinlan, Josh Halvax, Jared Durieux, and Greg Flecher lined up in the Men’s Cat 1/2/3 race ready for some action. Josh attacked very early in the race and got away with another rider. Several Carbon Racers attacked the field and responded to attacks on the field from other riders all trying to create an opportunity for a clean break to bridge the leaders. Dan Quinlan was able to bridge the leaders later in the race and eventually rode in for the solo win. Josh Halvax was able to outsprint the unidentified rider he was with for a 2nd place finish. Jared Durieux took the field sprint for 4th place and Greg Flecher fell victim to a flat tire very close to the end of the race. Congratulations!
