Carbon Racing’s composite team (Dan Quinlan, Shawn Adams, Greg Flecher, Cameron Jackson & Russ Fogle) have helped Dan Quinlan capture the YELLOW jersey after today’s 78 mile road race in the Hocking Hills region in Ohio. News from the team is that Shawn Adams and Greg Flecher were instrumental in getting into all of the key moves and helping to keep Dan in place and safe before he made his move into a 2 man break with 10 miles to go. Russ was also key as he took the role of domestique, riding water up to his teammates to keep our leaders hydrated and ready to go. Dan attacked the other rider with 8 miles to go and took the solo win!
Along the way he also grabbed the sprint primes to take the Green jersey as well, though this was automatically relegated to the 2nd place position since Dan is the race leader. Shawn took some KOM points and finished 8th today. Greg was out in a 60 mile break and finished with the field. Both Greg and Dan are reportedly both tied for 2nd place for the KOM.
