On Saturday, June 12th, 2010 Carbon Racing’s Erin Quinlan was the solo representative in the Women’s 1/2/3 field at the Michelob Ultra Downtown Erie Crit and represent she did riding away from her breakaway partners to take the win! Hard to believe that she just had her daughter five months ago, isn’t it?! In the Men’s 1/2 field, Brian Batke, Ray Huang, Matt Weeks and Josh Halvax represented the team. Matt went on to take the last podium spot with Paul Martin (Panther-Competitive Cyclist) taking the win. Both Ray and Brian also finished in the money and Ray reportedly took 3 field primes in the process. Josh suffered a flat unfortunately.
Representing Carbon Racing at the Le Tour De Mont Pleasant Criterium were Dan Quinlan, Greg Flecher, Shawn Adams, and Jared Durieux. Dan, Greg, and Shawn raced in the Men’s 1/2 field with Dan finishing in 10th position, Shawn and Greg finished in the field. Jared raced in the Men’s Cat 3 field an took an impressive field sprint to take the 3rd place podium spot. Congratulations Jared!!
