Carbon Racing would not be shut out as Brian and Tris showed their strengths as a two man squad with a 2nd place finish against a six man team from RGF. Read Brian’s report below.
Tris and I fared pretty well at Mid-Ohio, outnumbered versus RGF : Paul, Jeremy, Andy C., Andy M., Dave C., Polo. After some attacks and counters, Jeremy took off, I was on the front and looked back to see Tris launching after him. Thom D went too. They hooked up, but Thom got dropped. After a few laps of attacks, I took off with Andy M and another guy. We caught Thom and worked okay, but not enough to catch Tris & Jeremy. Paul & Marco made it to us with 3 to go. Tris got 2nd, I got 6th (3rd in the sprint from our group).
